WHO WE ARE
This association is organized to empower student-athletes of Serbian descent in the USA competing and aspiring to compete in collegiate sports, by providing a strong support network that helps them navigate the challenges of balancing academics, athletics and personal well-being. We aim to ease their transition, strengthen their resilience, and celebrate the unique tenacity that defines Serbian athletes. The purpose of our organization is also to provide a platform for the student-athletes of Serbian descent to connect with one another.
WHAT WE DO
Serbian American Student-Athletes Association organizes members to provide Serbian student-athletes with guidance and opportunities needed to thrive both in their sport and in their education, fostering a new generation of champions on and off the field.
The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
a. to organize community lectures through in-person and on-line events;
b. to provide mentorship and information to incoming college bound student-athletes of Serbian descent in the USA during their transition period and further;
c. to provide resources through public and private forums;
d. to raise funds to financially support talented student-athletes of Serbian descent.
e. to network between incoming, current and former student-athletes of Serbian descent in the USA;
f. to recognize and celebrate the individual athletic and academic achievements of student-athletes of Serbian descent in the USA.
