NONPROFIT PURPOSE

This organization is committed to empowering student-athletes of Serbian descent in the United States who are currently participating in, or aspiring to compete in collegiate sports. It plans to offer a comprehensive support network tailored to assist these young people in navigating the challenges of balancing academics, athletics, and personal well-being.

Our mission is to facilitate their transition, strengthen their resilience, and honor the unique tenacity that characterizes Serbian athletes. We aim to cultivate a sense of community by providing a platform for student-athletes of Serbian heritage to connect and engage in development of strong-minded young and upcoming generations of athletes to come.

The Serbian American Student-Athletes Association is committed to supporting Serbian student-athletes by offering guidance and creating opportunities for success in both their athletic and academic endeavors, fostering the development of a new generation of champions both on and off the field.

The specific objectives and purpose of this organization:

• Community lectures through in-person and virtual events.

• Mentorship and resources to incoming college-bound student-athletes of Serbian descent.

• Assistance during their transition and throughout their collegiate journey.

• Access to valuable resources through public and private forums.

• Networking opportunities among incoming, current, and former student-athletes of Serbian descent in the United States.

• Acknowledgement and celebration of the individual athletic and academic achievements of Serbian student-athletes in the USA.
